This policy explains how BeerCanPickup uses cookies and similar technologies. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We group ours into three categories. You can accept or decline the non‑essential ones at any time using the Cookie Settings link (also in the footer). Essential cookies can't be switched off because the site won't work without them.
Required to run the site and keep it secure. No consent needed.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Keeps you logged in and maintains your session. | Session |
bcp_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. | 1 year |
Enable specific features you asked for. First‑party; set only when relevant.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|
bcp_ref | Remembers who referred you when you arrive via a referral link, so the referrer is credited if you sign up. Set only when you click a referral link. | 30 days |
Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These load only after you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, and never before. If you choose “Necessary only,” none of these are set.
| Provider | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics | Aggregate, anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, general location, device type). | Up to 2 years |
| Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Measures the effectiveness of our ads, if running. | Up to 90 days |
We only run analytics tools that are active in our tag manager; if none are configured, no analytics cookies are set even after you accept.
Use the Cookie Settings link to change your choice anytime. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features (like staying logged in) may stop working.
